The Area
Crantock Beach
The stunning Crantock beach is backed by towering sand dunes with the Gannel to the Northern edge.
The beach provides a huge expanse of sand, rock pools and caves to explore at low tide. See if you can find the lady of Crantock hidden in one of the caves!
During the season you can find the Big Green Surf School on the beach and Cargo Coffee serving up coffees, cakes and ice creams.
Crantock Beach from North Shore is a 6 minute walk through a field and down the dunes. Or pushchair friendly route is 10 minute walk through the village. There’s also a National trust carpark which gets extremely busy in the summer season, we’d recommend getting there early in the morning, to guarantee a space.

Crantock Village
Just a few minutes walk into the village and you can find the local village shop and Post Office. There are two pubs; The Old Albion Inn and The Cornishman.
Jam Jar Kitchen is a café eat in or takeaway during the day and a Pizzeria at night.
Crantock Village is a very quaint, picturesque place with thatch cottages and the historic St Carantoc Church

West Pentire is a short walk from North Shore and is home to the famous Poly Joke Poppy fields, as well as the beautiful beach Polly Joke.
CBay Restaurant and Spa, and The Bowgie Inn, which has the best view across Crantock Beach and beyond.

Newquay & Beyond
This bustling seaside town has a large number of independent restaurants, bars, cafes and shops.

The seven beaches are splendid and provide world-class surf and something different to experience.

There is plenty to see and do in Newquay from fishing trips, surf lessons and many spots to entertain the children.
